THYKE III
THYKE III is set up for Costa Smeralda charters out of Poltu Quatu, her year-round base on the northern tip of Sardinia. The Maddalena archipelago and the beaches of southern Corsica sit within easy reach of the berth. She is a Pershing 90, launched in 2008 to exterior lines by Fulvio de Simoni and back from a refit completed in 2024, a fast open yacht in the mould that made the yard's name.
She cruises at 26 knots, quick enough to turn the run into the Maddalena islands into a short hop and to bring Bonifacio, across the strait on Corsica's southern shore, into range for a day trip.
Nine guests sleep in four lower-deck cabins: a midship master with a king bed, a VIP at the bow with a queen, a double, and a twin with an additional pullman berth. The master, VIP and twin are en suite, and a crew of four handle the boat, the galley and the service between them.
On the water, two Seabobs lead the toy inventory, with a kayak, snorkelling gear and a broad swim platform for slow afternoons at anchor. A Williams 325 jet tender drops guests ashore. She flies the Italian flag and keeps her Poltu Quatu berth through the winter, so the season runs as long as the weather does.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
