BOLD

BOLD carries a commercial-certified helideck built for the AgustaWestland AW109 Grand, an eight-seat twin-engine machine with a 3.2-tonne maximum weight. Guests can fly directly to the yacht from a regional airport in the same certified machine class.
She is an 85-metre Silver Yachts expedition motor yacht built in 2019, with exterior styling by Espen Øino and naval architecture developed by Silver Yachts in collaboration with Øino's office. The hull carries a 5,000-nautical-mile range at cruising speed, which puts an Atlantic crossing well within a single-tank passage. Top speed is 23 knots.
Twelve charter guests spread across eight cabins: one master, three VIPs, and four further staterooms. The 300-square-metre skylounge runs floor-to-ceiling windows along both sides of the deck, and the wintergarden seats 18 for indoor dining when weather closes the aft cockpit. A crew of 20 handles the operation.
Toys cover the standard charter range, with jet ski, Seabob, four wakeboards, four paddleboards, two kayaks, water skis, and a snorkel-and-fishing locker. The tender garage holds three Rupert-class RIBs alongside scuba kits for six divers, and the sundeck Jacuzzi seats eight under glass windbreaks.
BOLD splits the season between Porto Cervo through summer, with the Western Mediterranean, Greece, Croatia, Montenegro, and the Red Sea inside her cruising range. She crosses to the Caribbean for winter across the BVI, Leewards, and Bahamas, supported by the same range that makes the Atlantic delivery a routine passage.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
