THE MAJ OCEANIC

Summer: IndonesiaWinter: Indonesia
1 / 20

THE MAJ OCEANIC is a 47-metre phinisi built in 2020, carrying 12 guests across seven cabins with a crew of 16. She splits her year between Komodo (from Labuan Bajo, May to October) and Raja Ampat (from Sorong, November to April).

The 120-square-metre Admiral Suite occupies the entire bridge deck: king bed, private balcony, 270-degree ocean views, separate bathtub, rain shower, and twin vanities. A 35-square-metre Commodore Suite on the main deck has king bed and a convertible sofa for a child. Four 25-square-metre Deluxe Staterooms on the lower deck have queen beds, settee lounges, writing desks, twin-sink ensuites, and separate showers. An additional twin cabin is available for children.

Four kayaks, four SUPs, snorkelling gear, biodegradable golf balls for open-water driving, barbecue setup, and beach equipment. Two 6m RIB tenders with 90HP each handle dive transfers and shore runs. Jet skis available on request at additional cost.

She cruises at 9 knots (12 top). The itineraries follow Indonesia's best dive sites: Komodo dragons at Rinca, manta cleaning stations, and the coral walls of Misool.

A 120-square-metre master suite on a traditional phinisi, staffed by 16 crew, in the most biodiverse waters on earth.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
