NOMAD

Lavrion sits south of Athens on the east coast of Attica, the gateway charter base for boats heading into the Cyclades. NOMAD is a 2019 Lagoon 52F based year-round at Olympic Marine in Lavrion, sleeping twelve guests across six cabins.

She is VPLP-designed with exterior lines by Patrick le Quément and interiors by Nauta Design, in the flybridge layout that puts a second helm station and a lounge up top above the main salon and galley. Five cabins are queen-bedded and en-suite, and the sixth carries up-and-down bunk beds for families travelling with children. A crew of three, captain, chef, and deckhand, work out of their own quarters and run a typical Greek week.

The water sports kit is properly stocked. Adult water skis and a kids' set alongside, a wakeboard, two towable tubes, two paddleboards, a two-person kayak, fishing gear, and ten sets of snorkel gear cover the family side of the charter. A tender handles the shore drops to the village quays.

Engineering is comfortable: a 300-litre-per-hour water maker, full air conditioning, a generator, satellite TV in the saloon, deck shower, sunbeds on the foredeck, and an electro-hydraulic gangway that drops onto the quay or the swim platform. The cabins carry hairdryers and a full Apivita toiletries kit from the Greek brand, with shampoo, conditioner, body milk, and hand soap stocked per cabin.

From Lavrion she reaches across into the Cyclades through summer, with the Saronic islands within easy run for shorter winter charters.
