KOS 58.CAT

Summer: CycladesWinter: Saronic Islands
1 / 10

Bali launched the 5.8 in 2024 as the tenth-anniversary flagship of the range, and KOS 58.CAT is a 2025 hull working her first full season out of Athens. She is a 17.65-metre sailing catamaran with 9.06 metres of beam, built by the Catana Group with carbon structural bulkheads borrowed from the parent yard's racing programme.

The Bali signature is the forward cockpit, a full social lounge across the foredeck, and the 5.8 puts it on a scale that handles the whole charter party. The aft cockpit, the saloon, and the foredeck lounge form one continuous deck on the same level, with the garage-style transom dropping to make the swim platform an extension of the cockpit. Twin diesels of 80 horsepower each push her at sensible cruise; the rest is sail.

Twelve guests sleep in six en-suite cabins on a hull configured for two families or three couples and friends. The galley sits in the saloon at standing height with the sliding doors open onto the cockpit, which is how dinner ends up running long after sunset. Bimini, water maker, ice maker, and solar make her self-sufficient at anchor for a full week.

Alimos Marina is the home base year-round. The Cyclades fill the summer schedule, with Hydra, Spetses, and the Saronic Gulf taking over once the meltemi drops in autumn. Two stand-up paddleboards, snorkel gear, and fishing gear ride on board, all launched from the swim platform.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
