BAD COMPANY SUPPORT is a 45-metre Damen Yachting Sea Axe, delivered in 2019 with a wave-piercing bow and 120 square metres of open deck space. She was built as an expedition support vessel and she looks it: custom art on the bow, steel construction, Quantum zero-speed stabilizers, and a shallow draft that gets her into anchorages larger yachts can't reach.

Six guests in three en-suite cabins on the main deck. Two twins (port and starboard) and a queen forward. The main salon is bright, with large windows and a colorful interior that runs warmer than the exterior suggests. The bridge deck aft has al fresco dining around a rectangular table with lounge seating.

She carries a Rupert tender, a Seabob, two SUPs, a tube, and snorkel gear. She cruises at 12 knots and operates out of the Atlantic: Azores, Spain, Canary Islands.

This is a yacht for people who want to go somewhere different. The Sea Axe hull handles rough water, the stabilizers keep it comfortable, and the shallow draft opens up coastline that the standard charter fleet never sees.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
