ARAOK

Summer: Balearic IslandsWinter: Caribbean
1 / 30

ARAOK is a 32-metre aluminium explorer built by OCEA in 2023, the latest from a French yard that has been building aluminium patrol boats, research ships, and offshore workboats since 1987. That pedigree shows in her 4,000-nautical-mile range at 10 knots, built to cross oceans on her own terms. Twin 600-horsepower engines push her to 15 knots when needed, with 12 as a comfortable cruising speed.

Nine guests fit across four en-suite cabins: a primary suite, a VIP double, a third double, and a twin with a pullman berth that handles families or a fifth guest. The interior by French designer Pierre Frutschi keeps things clean and contemporary throughout, with light joinery, functional spaces, and the kind of restrained elegance that suits a vessel built for the open Atlantic.

On deck, the teak-laid flybridge and main deck give more outdoor space than the 32-metre waterline suggests, with a Seabob, kayak, paddleboard, wakeboard, and snorkel gear to fill the hours at anchor.

ARAOK splits her year between the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, carrying nine guests and a crew of three with the range and the aluminium hull to make her own way between them.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
