About MYRA
If you're looking for a classic sailing experience with modern comforts, you should definitely consider MYRA. Built by the Turkish yacht builders Ege Yat in 2003 and recently refitted in 2021/22, this schooner combines traditional charm with practical amenities that make for a comfortable charter.
One standout feature of MYRA is her robust steel hull, which not only adds to her classic aesthetic but also enhances safety and stability while sailing. The exterior is beautifully finished with gloss varnished bulwarks and a teak deck, making her a pleasure to walk around, whether at anchor or under sail.
Inside, the raised deck house salon is spacious and inviting, flooded with natural light from large ports. It features two formal dining tables that can easily accommodate all 12 guests, plus a cozy lounge area on the starboard side for relaxing with a book or enjoying a movie on the flat-screen TV. The interior is finished with fine wood panels and teak-holly inlay floors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
MYRA offers plenty of outdoor living space, too. The aft deck is perfect for alfresco dining and has sunbeds for lounging under the shade of a Bimini cover. If you prefer sunbathing, the foredeck has additional sunbeds where you can soak up the rays.
With a total of six guest cabins, MYRA can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests. The layout includes four double cabins and two twin cabins, making it versatile for groups of friends or families. Plus, with a crew of six, you can expect attentive service without feeling crowded.
For those looking to enjoy some water activities, MYRA is equipped with stand-up paddleboards, an inflatable kayak, water skis, and snorkeling gear. Whether you want to explore hidden coves or simply relax on the water, there’s plenty to keep you entertained.
If you're planning to explore the Cyclades, MYRA is based in Athens and is ready to take you on an unforgettable journey through this stunning region. With her combination of classic design, modern amenities, and ample outdoor space, she’s a solid choice for your next yacht charter.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
