PROJECT STEEL

PROJECT STEEL started life as a 1993 Bugari hull. In 2019, a conversion added a 4-metre extension and a completely new vertical bow, followed by a full interior refit in 2020. The result is a 34-metre steel-hulled motor yacht (hence the name) with a modern profile on a proven platform, twin 630-horsepower engines, and 11.5 knots cruising from her year-round Athens base.

Twelve guests in five en-suite cabins with individual climate control. A master suite with king bed, a VIP with queen, a double that converts to a children's playroom, and two twins each with an upper pullman berth. The layout is built for families: the playroom conversion means younger children have somewhere to go that isn't the main salon.

The flybridge has a jacuzzi, barbecue, sunbathing areas, and outdoor dining. Technogym equipment sits up top with sea views. A crew of six runs the boat year-round from Athens, covering the Cyclades, Saronic Gulf, and Dodecanese.

On the water: a jet ski, Seabob, wakeboard, water skis (adult and children's), kneeboard, tube, kayaks (single and tandem), floating mats, snorkelling gear, and fishing equipment. The 6.2-metre RIB tender handles shore transfers.

A 30-year-old steel hull with a brand-new bow and interior, crewing for twelve in Greece at a 34-metre price point. PROJECT STEEL is one of the more unusual propositions in the Aegean charter fleet.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
