GEORGE V

Four cabins sleep eight guests aboard GEORGE V, an Aicon 64 Fly of 20.51 metres built in Italy in 2008 and refitted in 2022. Two cabins, the master and a VIP, each have a private en-suite; the twin and the bunk cabin share a bathroom between them. It is an honest layout for eight, with a crew of three handling everything from navigation to the galley.
The 2022 refit brought the interior up to date with Smart TVs, Netflix, AirPlay, and a 5G Wi-Fi system throughout. On deck there is a BBQ for long afternoons at anchor, and the flybridge gives the kind of elevated vantage point that makes the Cyclades sea feel particularly wide. Sofia, the stewardess and cook, works from a Mediterranean repertoire that makes use of whatever the local markets offer.
GEORGE V is a strong platform for the Cyclades specifically because of her draft. At 0.95 metres she gets into anchorages that deeper boats have to skip, and twin 1,015hp Caterpillar engines cruise her at 20 knots so the distances between islands feel short. Water toys cover the basics well: water skis, a towable tube, two SUPs, snorkel gear, and fishing equipment, with a 3.80-metre Aeromarine tender and 30hp outboard for runs ashore. She operates year-round from Athens under the Greek flag, with Captain Dionisis and deckhand Dickson completing the crew.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
