SOL MADININA

SOL MADININA is a 2025 Fountaine Pajot Thíra 80, the yard's flagship sailing catamaran, designed by Berret-Racoupeau and based at Athens Marina for Cyclades summers and Saronic winters. She runs 24 metres on deck with an 11-metre beam, a 2-metre draft, and 200 square metres of mainsail working a 140-square-metre genoa.
The signature feature of the Thíra 80 sits on the side decks: two lounges with hydraulic balconies that fold down onto the water at anchor, opening the salon level out over the sea on both sides. Inside, the main salon runs full-beam with glazing on three sides, and the flybridge above carries the helm, an alfresco dining table, and sun loungers across the full width.
Ten guests sleep across five en-suite cabins, all with electric heads. The master is the headline cabin: a full owner's suite forward with a private jacuzzi, walk-in wardrobe, and the kind of glazing the Thíra 80 was built around. The four further cabins divide between hulls for couples or families.
A crew of five runs the boat from separate quarters and a service galley. On the swim platform the toys cover a Seabob, paddleboard, wakeboard, adult and kids water skis, towable tube, snorkel and fishing gear. A tender shuttles guests to the Cycladic harbours and beach clubs.
Under power she holds 10 knots, and under main and genoa she sails properly for a catamaran her size.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
