BLACK LION

Summer: CycladesWinter: Saronic Islands
1 / 35

BLACK LION came out of a major 2025 refit with a brand-new teak deck, a LORIMA carbon-composite mast, and fresh paintwork outside, and she sails the way you'd expect after that kind of attention: responsive in any wind, easy to settle into. She's set up for island-hopping and coastal cruising, with the sailing itself a real part of the appeal.

The interior is by Milan-based Nauta Yachts, leaning on natural textures and light wood finishes. The standout layout move is the double-level salon. The raised main salon gets the natural light and panoramic views, with formal dining for eight and a lounge area. The lower salon adds a quieter zone for hanging out away from the main flow.

She accommodates 9 guests across 4 cabins, which works for both families and mixed adult groups. The full-beam master has a queen bed. The forward twin has its own en-suite. The starboard twin adds a Pullman berth.

The port twin has its own en-suite. Linens, storage and AV systems are taken seriously across all four.

Outside, the cockpit has wraparound views and a proper dining setup, with a generous sunbathing area behind. The transom folds out into a beach club with a swim ladder, which turns the stern into a direct line to the water.

BLACK LION's fuel consumption is low for a yacht of her class, which makes her a lighter-footprint option if that matters to the group. The crew of four has been working together for years, and it shows in how the boat is run.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
