AIZU

Summer: Cyclades
1 / 30

The 2023 refit turned AIZU into a different yacht. The aluminium hull and Trehard pedigree remain from her 1989 build in Antibes (originally SUSANNE AF STOCKHOLM), with an interior of American Black Walnut floors and minimalist Scandinavian aesthetic by Claesson Koivisto Rune. At 30 metres, she sails the Cyclades and Saronic Gulf from an Athens base with genuine blue-water capability and a contemporary finish.

Four cabins sleep eight guests, all doubles with en-suite bathrooms and individual climate control. The master takes the full stern section with its own seating area; three further doubles sit forward along the lower deck. A crew of four lives separately and handles everything from sail trim to provisioning for longer passages toward the Dodecanese or Ionian.

Toys include a wakeboard, water skis (adult and children's sizes), SUP, snorkel gear, and fishing tackle, enough to fill the afternoons at anchor between island hops. Under sail she makes 8 knots comfortably, with twin Steyr diesels providing 10 knots under power for the longer crossings where timing matters more than scenery.

A 1989 aluminium hull with a 2023 Scandinavian interior, sailing out of Athens. The combination is the reason people rebook her.

Good to Know

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
