ANTAMAR II

1 / 30

ANTAMAR II is a Riva 70 built in 2001 and refitted in 2022, based year-round in Athens for charters across the Cyclades, Saronic Gulf, and the Athens Riviera. At 32 knots max and a 25-knot cruising speed from twin MTU 1,150HP engines, she ranks among the fastest charter yachts in Greek waters. A full-day island hop becomes a half-day run with time left to swim.

The Riva 70 hull carries unmistakable Italian design lines that still draw attention at every harbour wall. Eight guests sleep across four cabins, two doubles and two twins, with a crew of three handling everything from navigation to provisioning. Up on the flybridge, a retractable sunshade covers a dining banquette and sun pads where most mornings and late afternoons tend to unfold.

Captain Thanasis Garoufalidis brings over thirty years of experience navigating Greek islands, reading local weather windows and timing arrivals at quieter anchorages before the day-tripper boats appear. A 3.8-metre Highfield tender shuttles guests ashore, and the toy locker holds a SeaBob, a SUP, adult water skis, snorkel gear, and a sea scooter.

ANTAMAR II pairs Riva styling with the engine power to reach Hydra, Poros, or Kythnos in a single morning from her Athens base.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
