About SALTY

SALTY is a 23-metre motor yacht built by Alalunga in 2006, offering a well-judged balance of comfort, performance and onboard activities. She accommodates up to 10 guests in four en-suite cabins, making her an appealing option for family charters or groups of friends.

The Master cabin features a walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom, while the VIP cabin also benefits from its own en-suite facilities. Two Twin cabins each include an additional Pullman berth and en-suite bathrooms, providing flexible accommodation for children or extra guests.

A strong selection of water toys enhances the charter experience, including a jet ski, kayak, stand-up paddleboards and a wakeboard—ideal for making the most of time at anchor. Onboard entertainment includes an iPod music system and salon stereo, allowing guests to relax in comfort after a day on the water.

Cruising at approximately 21 knots, SALTY is well suited to covering distance efficiently while remaining comfortable underway. She is operated by a professional crew of four, offering attentive service throughout the charter.

Based in Athens, SALTY is a practical and enjoyable choice for exploring the Greek islands, combining lively cruising with a relaxed onboard atmosphere.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

At Frontier Yachting, we work with MYBA and CYBA contracts to safeguard the interests of our clients. These internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
