SALTY
Spertini Alalunga has been building motor yachts in Lavagna since 1961, and SALTY is one of the yard's 78-foot semi-custom hulls: 24 metres of Italian GRP planing hull, launched in 2006 and refitted in 2025. Twin Caterpillar C32 diesels totalling 3,340 horsepower push her to 26 knots and cruise comfortably at 21.
Four en-suite cabins sleep ten guests. The master has a walk-in wardrobe and its own bathroom. A VIP double sits aft. Two twin cabins each carry a pullman berth for a ninth and tenth guest, making the layout flexible enough for families with children or three couples travelling together.
Stabilizers at anchor and underway keep the boat flat, which matters when the meltemi blows through the Cyclades in July. Captain Nasopoulos (22 years on motor yachts, former Greek navy submariner) knows these waters well. Chef Nikakis, a Le Monde Culinary School graduate, leans heavily on local seafood.
A Seabob F5S, Sea-Doo Spark jet ski, wakeboard, water skis, paddleboards, kayak, towable tube, and snorkelling gear fill the toy locker, and a 4-metre Zodiac tender with 50-horsepower Tohatsu handles shore transfers. She operates year-round from Athens, with the Saronic Gulf and Cyclades both within a day's cruising.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
