MARE BLU

MARE BLU is a 64-foot Lagoon 630 MY power catamaran from 2018, refitted in 2023, working the BVI year-round out of Tortola. VPLP drew the naval architecture and Nauta Design did the interior, the same studio pairing that defines the rest of Lagoon's larger range. The boat takes eight guests across four en-suite cabins, with a captain and a chef-mate handling the programme between them.
The flybridge is the headline outdoor space, with helm, dining, and lounging set above the main deck and a clear view over the cockpit and bow. The main salon opens aft through full glass to the cockpit, and a galley-up layout keeps the cooking and the social spaces on one level. Air conditioning runs throughout, and the standard kit includes a water maker, ice maker, satellite TV, and a deck shower.
The water sports inventory is built around the BVI day-sail rhythm: two paddleboards, a wakeboard, water skis, a kneeboard, a tube, floating mats, and snorkel gear. A two-person kayak and fishing gear round out the inventory, launched from the Highfield tender or off the swim platform. Twin diesel engines move her between anchorages without waiting on weather windows.
Tortola is her home port for both summer and winter, which means no seasonal relocation and a charter week that starts and ends inside the BVI cruising grounds.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
