THE ADVENTURE

The British Virgin Islands are the whole cruising ground here, and THE ADVENTURE is set up to work them properly. She is a Lagoon 50 from 2020, refitted in 2023, based at Manuel Reef on Tortola with a shallow draft that opens up the shoals and beach anchorages the BVI are known for. Eight guests, four en-suite cabins, and a crew of two who run the boat and the galley.
The Lagoon 50 is a broad, stable platform, and the layout makes the most of it. The saloon and cockpit sit on one level for easy indoor-outdoor living. The flybridge gives a raised spot for the trade-wind breeze and long views over the anchorage, while the foredeck lounging area catches the sun through the middle of the day. It is a boat built for a relaxed week of short hops between Norman Island, the Baths, Anegada, and the quieter cays.
The water sports inventory is genuinely deep for a boat this size: fifteen sets of snorkel gear, two paddleboards, a single kayak, a towable, and two large floating mats for lazy afternoons at anchor. Air conditioning, a watermaker, and WiFi cover the essentials on board. A dinghy and a small sailing dinghy handle shore runs and give the more adventurous guests something to sail themselves.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
