SOMEWHERE HOT

SOMEWHERE HOT is a Leopard power catamaran from 2019, based at West End on Tortola and set up for the British Virgin Islands. She cruises at twelve knots, which shortens the run between islands and leaves more of the day for the water. Six guests, three en-suite cabins, and a crew of two make her a natural fit for a couple of families or a small group of friends.
Each of the three cabins has a queen berth and its own bathroom, so nobody draws the short straw. The power catamaran layout keeps the accommodation on one broad, level platform, with the saloon and cockpit flowing together and a flybridge above for the run between anchorages or a drink at the end of the day. Shallow draft lets her tuck into the beach anchorages and quiet cuts that make the BVI worth the trip.
The water sports kit is aimed at easy days at anchor: a knee board and a towable for the active hours, two paddleboards and a two-person kayak for exploring the shoreline, and eight sets of snorkel gear for the reefs. Two swim platforms give quick, easy access in and out of the water. The dinghy pulls the towable and runs guests ashore to the beach bars and restaurants.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
