ISLAND KISSES

Tortola in the morning, Virgin Gorda by lunch, and Anegada whenever the wind and the mood agree. ISLAND KISSES works the British Virgin Islands from a base in Tortola, and she is a Bali 5.4, the sixteen-metre catamaran Bali Catamarans delivered in 2019. The layout is built around the islands she sails: short hops between anchorages, long lunches at anchor, and easy access to the water from every deck.

The signature Bali foredeck is the space guests gravitate to, a solid platform with sun pads where trampolines would normally sit, giving you somewhere flat and dry to lie out well forward of the cockpit. Behind it, the salon and galley open straight onto the aft deck through a wide tilting door, so the main living area runs from bow to stern with almost nothing in the way. A covered flybridge sits above, with shade, seating, and a clear view over the anchorage.

Four cabins take eight guests, each with its own bathroom, and a crew of two run the boat and the galley. Air conditioning, a water maker, and a proper barbecue cover the practical side of a week aboard.

The water toys suit families and mixed groups: a wakeboard and a towable tube, two paddleboards, a two-person kayak, sea scooters, snorkel gear, and floating mats. Fishing gear and beach games come along for the quieter days. The dinghy runs guests ashore to the beach bars of Jost Van Dyke and the settlements of Virgin Gorda.
