MONTE OLYMPO

Summer: Cyclades
1 / 26

Paros to Antiparos is 20 minutes at cruising speed, Antiparos to Despotiko another 15. MONTE OLYMPO is a De Antonio D42, a 12-metre open day boat built in Barcelona in 2024 with three Mercury Verado outboards hidden under the aft sunpad. At 28 knots cruising and a 46-knot top end, she turns the central Cyclades into a single-day itinerary.

The D42's signature is that engine installation. Three outboards sit beneath a flush sunpad at the stern; press a button and the whole platform lifts to reveal the compartment. The result is a clean transom, a proper swim platform, and a quiet aft deck at anchor.

Draft is 0.60 metres, which puts coves and shallow anchorages across the Cyclades within reach, places like Panteronisi and the beaches south of Antiparos where the swimming is best. The full teak deck runs bow to stern, with a T-top over the helm, a wet bar, BBQ, cockpit fridge, and a canvas tent over the stern sunbed for shade.

One air-conditioned cabin below deck sleeps two guests overnight, turning a day boat into a two-day Cyclades hop when the itinerary warrants it. A captain runs MONTE OLYMPO out of Paroikia, Paros from May through October, with a winter base at Alimos Athens.

A 2024 De Antonio with 0.60 metres of draft, 46 knots on tap, and Paros as her home port: built to reach Despotiko before the first beach towels are laid out.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
