GITANA

GITANA appeared in the 2005 film Hitch alongside Will Smith, picked for her looks after a director spotted her on a visit to New York. She is a 36-metre Perini Navi from 1989, designed by Fabio Perini himself as a follow-up to his earlier Felicita, and she carries the classic lines that made the yard's name.
Below decks the interior was redesigned in 2015 by Guido de Groot with Ralph Lauren, warm cherry joinery offset by pale fabrics and marble bathrooms. Nine guests are accommodated across three cabins, an owner's suite, a VIP, and a guest double, all en-suite, with a crew of six aboard.
The deck plan was built around outdoor living from the start. A shaded cockpit seats twelve for dinner and opens onto teak side decks and a raised pilot-house lounge, while sunpads run forward and aft for quiet stretches at anchor. One detail ahead of its time: a 24-volt battery bank lets her run in silent mode, a feature Perini Navi pioneered on this hull.
She cruises under sail at a relaxed pace from her base in Athens, working the Greek islands through the summer. The toys cover an active group: a jet ski, two paddleboards, two water sofas, water skis, tubes, and a banana, with snorkel and fishing gear aboard. A 5.5-metre DiveRIB with a 115-horsepower outboard tows the towables and runs guests ashore.

Good to Know
Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.
An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.
Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.
We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.
We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.
We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.
If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
