SLIM is the final hull of the iconic Gunboat 66 series, a high-performance cruising catamaran designed by Morelli & Melvin and built in South Africa. Launched in 2012, she has been meticulously maintained throughout her life, with major refits completed in 2015 and 2019. Custom-fitted to her owner’s requirements for world cruising, SLIM is built to explore remote destinations that are only accessible by yacht.

Her advanced composite construction, combined with a fast-displacement racing hull design, delivers outstanding performance across a wide range of conditions. SLIM is known for her responsive handling, speed, and ability to perform comfortably on long passages while maintaining a smooth and stable ride.

SLIM accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 well-appointed cabins, each featuring a walk-in shower, air conditioning, a sound system, and a flat-screen TV. The interior blends performance-driven design with refined comfort, creating a clean and elegant onboard atmosphere suited for extended cruising.

Elegant lines, thoughtful customization, and strong sailing capabilities define SLIM, combining high-end comfort with genuine offshore performance and a focus on long-range exploration.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
