LONESTAR

Summer: SeychellesWinter: Seychelles
1 / 30

Over 230 square metres of deck space on a 25-metre sailing catamaran. LONESTAR was designed by VPLP (Van Peteghem-Lauriot Prevost) in 1991 and refitted in 2020, purpose-built for the kind of open-air living that the Seychelles demands. She charters year-round from the inner islands on an all-inclusive basis.

Six en-suite cabins (four doubles, two twins) sleep twelve guests, with berths for up to four additional children. The interior salon has a dining area, lounge, and bar, all air-conditioned for the days when the breeze drops. A crew of five includes a dedicated chef handling all meals and drinks as part of the rate.

On deck, the space is real. Everyone spreads out across foredeck sunbathing, cockpit dining, and shaded lounging under the bimini. Toys include four single kayaks, two SUPs, wakeboard, water skis, tow tube, snorkel and fishing gear. A BBQ rounds out sunset evenings at anchor.

She sails at 10 knots cruising, up to 15 when the wind fills in, covering Mahé, Praslin, La Digue, and the outer atolls within a standard week. Twelve guests sailing all-inclusive through the Seychelles, chef included, on a yacht with more outdoor space than most 40-metre motor yachts.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
