SOL

Winter: British Virgin Islands
1 / 30

SÓL is the first 80 Sunreef Power Eco catamaran, launched in 2023 and named after the Nordic goddess of the sun. Her 12-metre beam gives every deck genuine room to breathe: a bow terrace with glass-sided jacuzzi, a full-beam aft cockpit that opens straight into the main salon, and a flybridge that catches whatever breeze the Caribbean offers.

The propulsion sets the tone for the whole charter. Twin 360kW electric motors draw from a 990kWh lithium battery bank charged by integrated solar panels, and the system runs generator-free overnight, which means silent anchorages with no exhaust and no vibration. It changes how a charter feels after dark.

Four en-suite cabins sleep eight. The king master sits amidships in the starboard hull; a queen cabin forward of it and two more queens fill the port hull. Each cabin has deep closets, charging stations, and enough headroom to move around without thinking about it. A crew of four, led by Captain Finn and Chef Cara, handles everything from provisioning to passage planning.

Toys start with a custom 10-person jet tender and an electric chase boat, then run through Flite and Hydroflyer E-foils, SeaBobs, kiteboarding gear, kayaks, paddleboards, wakeboard, water skis, kneeboard, tubes, and snorkel equipment. She operates from the British Virgin Islands and moves into the Bahamas seasonally.

SÓL is solar-electric, silent, and built for people who would rather be on the water than talking about the yacht.

Good to Know

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
