YOLO

Summer: Balearic IslandsWinter: Balearic Islands
1 / 20

Ibiza and the Balearics through the summer, the Caribbean through the winter. YOLO is set up to charter both: a 2022 Sunreef 70+ sailing catamaran, 23.5 metres on deck, based in Ibiza from May to October and crossing west for the Leewards, Windwards, and BVI season.

She carries a full sail wardrobe for the crossing and the cruising: a 170 m² mainsail, a 140 m² genoa, a 340 m² gennaker for downwind work, and a 70 m² staysail. Cruising speed is 9 knots, with 11 knots available when the breeze fills in. A crew of four runs the boat and the service.

Eight guests sleep across four en-suite cabins. The master has an oversize queen bed, two VIPs each carry queens too, and the fourth cabin runs as a convertible twin or double. All four open to natural light through the Sunreef hull glazing.

The 50 m² flybridge is the centre of the boat on a sunny day: bar, lounge, and a wide view over whichever anchorage she's drifted into. The aft terrace handles alfresco dining off a generous bathing platform, and the foredeck adds a second sunbathing zone with proper lounge seating. A Sonos and Bowers and Wilkins system carries audio across the decks.

Toys live on the swim platform: two Seabobs, two paddleboards, a wakeboard, water skis, floating mats, snorkel and fishing gear. A Williams 445 Turbo Jet tender runs guests in to the Formentera beaches or the village quays.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
