CALMA

Summer: Balearic Islands
1 / 30

Two hundred and twenty-five square metres of living space across an 18.4-metre platform. CALMA is a Sunreef 60 sailing catamaran from 2020, with a grey hull, a galley-up layout, and the broad-beam geometry the Polish yard built the model around.

The saloon and galley share a single level, and a sliding glass door brings the aft cockpit flush into the indoor lounge so a dinner for ten can move between the two spaces without anyone stepping over a threshold. Bang & Olufsen handles the sound. The flybridge carries a wet bar and a barbecue alongside open-air dining, and the foredeck lounges are deep enough for ten guests to spread out without crowding the helm station.

Below deck, a full-beam master suite with a king bed and four further double cabins with queens, all en-suite, sleep ten guests across five cabins. A crew of three, captain, chef, and stewardess, runs the boat and the service from separate quarters forward.

Toys cover the water side of the programme: a Seabob, a stand-up paddleboard, a wakeboard, a towable, snorkel and fishing gear. The tender is a Williams jet tender, jet-driven for shallow approaches and quiet beach landings.

CALMA works the Balearics out of Mallorca through the summer season. Weekly rates run €40,500 in low season and €46,500 in high season, plus APA and applicable VAT.

Good to Know

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
