PAULA III

Summer: Balearic IslandsWinter: Balearic Islands
1 / 30

Mondomarine built PAULA III in 1995 to an Aldo Cichero design, and a 2021 refit brought the interiors and systems up to date without losing the boat's original proportions. At 37 metres on a GRP hull with a 2.3-metre draft, she fits into the smaller calas around Ibiza and Formentera that bigger yachts have to anchor outside of.

Twelve guests across five en-suite cabins. The full-beam master suite sits on the main deck. Two VIP cabins on the lower deck each have double beds, and two twin cabins with pullman berths handle families or groups that need the extra berths. The main salon is open-plan with large windows and polished wood panelling that has carried well through three decades and a refit. Six crew run the boat year-round, summers from Ibiza, winters from Valencia.

The sundeck carries a jacuzzi, barbecue, and sunpads fore and aft. Two jet skis, two paddleboards, water skis for adults and children, a towable tube, and snorkelling gear for fifteen cover the water sports.

PAULA III cruises at 15 knots with a top speed of 28. Ibiza Town to Formentera's Ses Illetes is a short run, and the quieter north coast anchorages are comfortable day-hops even on shorter charter weeks. The 2.3-metre draft is what makes the difference: she tucks into the coves that make Ibiza worth chartering.

Key details to help you prepare for your charter experience.

An APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) is a pre-paid amount given to the yacht to cover costs like food & drinks on board, fuel, and mooring fees. At the end of your charter, we'll provide you with an itemized breakdown of the expenses, and any unused funds will be refunded to you.

Your Captain will keep you updated if you're close to exceeding your budget. If necessary, they'll discuss how to proceed, which usually involves a simple bank transfer to replenish the allowance.

We recommend around 10-15% of the charter fee as gratuity for the crew. It's thoughtful to prepare a thank-you card or envelope to make the process easier.

We'll provide you with the Captain's contact details well ahead of your charter. We can also create a group chat with you and the Captain to go over any plans and preferences before you board.

We follow MYBA and CYBA contract standards, these internationally recognized agreements offer clarity and security throughout your charter experience.

If you're ever uncertain about what's included or have any questions, feel free to ask your broker at Frontier Yachting. We're here to ensure your charter experience is perfect.
